Our Relationship

Our relationship to PinkRibbon International

Pink Ribbon Foundation India is the Indian affiliate of PinkRibbon International, established by Pink Ribbon Inc. (New York), and operates under its strategic direction and governance.

A Global Mission Expanding Across India

Pink Ribbon Foundation India represents a major expansion of the mission of PinkRibbon International, bringing its commitment to breast cancer prevention, awareness, education and early detection directly into communities across India. The Foundation provides a dedicated platform through which international philanthropy, corporate sponsorship, government collaboration, medical expertise and community action can be brought together to create a sustainable national model for women's health. The Foundation will support delivery through its Indian partners and work collaboratively with organisations across India, both government and non-government, to create a coordinated model capable of reaching women regardless of geography or financial circumstances.

From a Global Movement to a National Model

PinkRibbon International is a global organisation dedicated to preventing, detecting and ultimately eliminating breast cancer and other female cancers through scientific research, prevention programmes and strategic partnerships. The establishment of Pink Ribbon Foundation India represents the next stage of that international expansion: creating a dedicated Indian foundation capable of mobilising resources locally while connecting India's work to a global movement. India has the potential to become a global example of what can be achieved when government, NGOs, medical institutions, corporations, communities and international philanthropy work together around one common objective.

Our Vision

Every woman in India deserves access to the knowledge that can save her life.

Our vision is to develop a universal, accessible and scalable model of breast cancer prevention, awareness and education, ensuring that women and girls across India can access reliable information about breast health, risk awareness, early warning signs and the importance of seeking appropriate medical advice.

Delivery Partner

Our Delivery Partner — India Turns Pink

Pink Ribbon Foundation India will financially support and work closely with its delivery partner, India Turns Pink, to deliver programmes on the ground. India Turns Pink provides an established grassroots platform for breast cancer awareness, education, community engagement and outreach. The Foundation will build on this delivery capability while developing further partnerships across states, cities, rural communities, educational institutions, healthcare networks and underserved populations.

Partnerships Across India

The Foundation will actively seek partnerships with government organisations, non-government organisations, medical and healthcare institutions, educational institutions, corporate partners and international organisations. The objective is to create an interconnected national ecosystem in which organisations work together rather than independently, combining local reach with medical expertise, resources and international standards.

Our Commitment

Pink Ribbon Foundation India is committed to building a future in which breast cancer is discussed without fear, knowledge is available without barriers, and women are empowered to take action at the earliest possible opportunity. We believe that awareness should not be a privilege. Education should not depend upon where a woman lives. Prevention should not be available only to those who can afford it.
